![]() ![]() I'm among those that have played this game for thousands of hours, and I can still find interesting things to do. If you've ever had any interest in planning or flying semi-realistic space missions, you should try this game. It doesn't require a lot of math or science to start, but you will learn orbital mechanics and such along the way. The game's not perfect, it has a few WTH level bugs in the 1.0 release, and while the simulation is far more accurate than you'd expect from a game, there are some corners that got cut, such as life support, in the interest of keeping the game fun for more normal people. While it is cheesing the game, even with the glitch there are a lot of challenges to make a functioning vessel. This is the game I've wanted ever since I told my mom to write NASA a dirty letter for not inviting me along for the first trip to the moon (I This is the game I've wanted ever since I told my mom to write NASA a dirty letter for not inviting me along for the first trip to the moon (I was four at the time). For example there is a glitch where Heatshields can produce massive amounts of lift but no drag, using that technology Stratzenblitz75 built an Eve SSTO. But finding glitches in the game that allow you to cheat without "really" cheating is also fun for some people, since it presents it's own challenge. It just seems much easier and safer to click a few things in the menu to turn it on rather than trying to rig something up to glitch the game out. Not like I see using them as bad or anything. Don't get me wrong I use fuel cheats in half the game saves I make these days. Infinite fuel is a cheat built into the game, this version of a Kraken Drive is just a glitch that can be used (It's still kinda cheating though), and it comes with it's own challenges. So basically you can cause some odd reaction by glitching out parts? #KERBAL SPACE PROGRAM KRAKEN MOD#I had heard the term before and just assumed it was a mod of some kind.
